To ensure that neighborhood safety and nuisance concerns are addressed, the North Central Special Services District works closely with both the Philadelphia Police Department and Temple University’s Department of Campus Safety Services.

Temple University’s Department of Campus Safety Services is a full-service police and security organization of well-trained professionals who provide safety and security to the community. The district is patrolled 24 hours per day by bike, foot and vehicle.
The Public Safety Station at 1513 Cecil B. Moore Ave. includes a community policing team, Temple Emergency Medical Services and Allied Universal Security Services.
